If you want to eat ze bugs just watch the World Cup at this point I guess. It's not about being a contrarian but the ESC is just musically so unappealing that I'd rather spend my time watching paint dry instead

I agree this year was subpar
but overall the esc has produced some good songs
although recently there has definitely been an influx of "esc sound" or music thats made to appeal to the professional jury
but most of those songs didnt do all that great this year so maybe they changed something in that process

Bulgaria won, good for them, not my cup of tea
Israel in second is higher than I would've put them but not entirely unjustified if we take the competition into account
my personal favourite song was Norway though
