It's going that a mature, "game of thrones"-esque approach towards what it wants to tell. There's an actual story worth following, and there are consensual sex scenes and not just rape, so if you're interested in a slave-to-mobster story in a fantasy setting, I'd say check it out. It's still in progress though
To simplify this is really just dnd story telling which is in the tags, I caught on almost immediately that this was a dnd story and I got hooked it is pretty cool tbh, and spoiler alert here, there was a dick that got bit clean off, very disturbing scene.
