If you remember that most of his goals are for the sake of his own self interest, then a lot of the bullshit he's doing right now makes perfect sense.
Right now he's basically doing whatever he can to see how uncontested his powers are whilst also ripping apart important government sectors and selling it piecemeal to oligarchical entities (Zucc, Leon, etc) and ultimately become subservient to Russian interests.
Everything else is either done to either overwhelm/scare the sane part of the US citizenry, or distract them with culture war bullshit.

Hope my rant can sort of help explain to you all registered accounts.
TLDR: Trump will let Putin do whatever in Ukraine (Slava Ukraini is up to Europe now) and Netanyahu steamroll Palestine at his leisure. He'll do tax cuts for everyone, bigger ones for the rich, while cutting back social programs and still incurring massive government debt. The tariffs he's proposed will actually make things more expensive, even with the lower taxes (heh, face eating leopards will be stuffed). He might or might not take away rights from gays or lesbians, but he'll definitely continue to hammer away at trans rights (despite them being such a small group of people).
Past that I'm not too sure. What I do know is if that Republicans dispose of Trump for Vance with the 25th Amendment, Project 2025 and its full panoply of Christian fascist state where only perfect, white nuclear families will be allowed to live looks a heck of a lot more likely.
The best hope to stop that is at the midterms. However, even if Dems (wake up DNC, the establishment nominees aren't working) manage to stop more 2 years of insanity, the Supreme Court will likely have a conservative super majority for decades after, willing to do things that no would think they'd do, like overturn Roe v Wade, until they do.

There's basically three ways this pans out:
1, Trump miraculously actually does make prices lower, ends the wars in Ukraine and Palestine's favor, restores rights, more amazing great stuff. It'll never happen because MAGA is staunchly against all of that, being anti-rights and Russian assets.
2, America once again descends into the chaos and broken promises of 2016, except this time I hope the amount of leopard eating faces gets to a level where Obama's great economy doesn't shield Trump from the repercussions of his actions. People voted Joe because they realized how awful the orange shitbag was when Covid hit the fan and he said inject bleach to cure it. Joe fixed it and more, but because low inflation doesn't mean low prices (people are incredibly, massively ignorant of how finances work), people are voting with their wallets. Tragically hilariously (if it didn't affect people like me too), things like the tariffs Trump himself proposed will raise prices and inflation more, to the point that complete tax eradication will not lead to lower costs.
3, the end of the Great American Experiment of Democracy, Project 2025, is enacted. Likely not through Trump, rather Vance when/if Trump's despised of and pardoned via the 25th Amendment. Then, America becomes buddy-buddy with Putin and China, enemies of Europe and Democracy word-wide, as a Christian Fascist State, where only white, traditional nuclear families of a certain Christian denomination will be allowed to live.
As absurd as it sounds, I think Trump is our best hope for preserving America. He'll enact terrible policies that will make life harder for everyone and specific people groups (minorities like me, LGBTQ+ people, Democrats, etc), but is too stupid and old for much more than revenge, tax cuts, and rich get richer policies. That and the very harmful Supreme Court Justices appointments that will affect us long after he's gone. Other than that though, he's too incompetent to random America into a fascist state.
If he relinquishes the reins to Vance with a pardon promise, we're all doomed. Vance is far closer to Project 2025, he's way more likely to enact it. And will full control from all branches, I can't see it being stopped. At the end of the day, the Constitution is just a piece of paper. They haven't followed it before, they won't follow it now.
The way to fix this utter mess is: fire like all the DNC's old, established leadership. The Democratic Party needs to wake up with this election, install new, fresh people and leader, not those from the Obama/Hillary era. It needs people who truly understand the American people's plight, not beholden to any big donors. Secondly, be even more inclusive. This sounds crazy, but right now the D party has focused tremendously on women, those are risk of loosing their rights. The people that won't though? Males? They haven't been ostracized, unlike what people at places like r/GenZ think, but we definitely aren't trying super hard to include them. The left needs, needs to come up with a progressive equivalent to people like Jake Paul, Andrew Tate, etc. Right-wing infleuncers that gain massive followings because they empower men, in their own sick ways (by labeling others, primarily women, as unworthy of them, that they're better just because they're men, that's it's others' fault not yours, while grifting them).
There's more solutions, but I'm writing too much for a porn site anyways. With this, hopefully voters can cause a blue wave big enough at midterms to stop any more justice appointments, and new laws from being passed, effectively containing Trump's final two 2 from being just as, if not more crazy than the first 2 inevitably will be.
