This comic is a sad story that asks what if the Loud family was not as happy as they seem. The story begins on Christmas. This is when a secret that the family has been keeping for a long time finally becomes too much for Luna to handle. She has a breakdown and runs away, from the house. Lincoln and Sams daughter, Lina wants to know what is going on. So Lucy tells her the truth that the rest of the family has been hiding. The truth is that Sam did a thing to Lincoln years ago. She raped Lincoln and Lina was born because of that night. The Loud familys life is not happy like it seems. The Loud family has been living with this secret for a time. The story uses flashbacks to show the actual crime and how Lincoln ended up trapped in a fake marriage with his attacker just to be a father. It’s a heavy tragedy about a daughter realizing her existence is her father’s worst nightmare.
