Miss delight and her sisters were heavily implied to have been an adult human caretaker for playcare before getting put through the BBI. and in chp 5, we learn ritterman had SBMA( Kennedy's disease) and was in line to go through the BBI as well. I haven't made it all the way through chp 5 yet, so whether or not he did go through the procedure or if he even survived it is currently unknown
