Hey guys I am getting into 40k, how should I do salamanders paint wise? I have sons of horus green for my layer for my guys, and it’s not coming out the way I wanted, what paints should I be useing? Also, when i build my redemptor, should I paint it before building it or after building it?
I personally like to model first but most times I leave the model as several bigger parts. I usually do this because sometimes a bit could block my brush from reaching a part of a model propperly. For example if I were to put an arm to a models body it might block my brush from properly reaching a bit of the models chest so I paint the arm seperately and glue it on once the part it would block and the arm itself are painted. Its different model to model so play around with what fits you.

what even is warhammer 40k about i genuinely have been hearing a lot about it like the board game, games, the small figurines but NOT one bit about the story about it like how is it so popular yet nobody talks about it other than the entertaining parts
A squad of Gray Knights should be enough, no? If not, then get more squads and some Librarians like Mephiston (Blood Angles Chief Librarian) to help them. Should be enough to purge the galaxy of such heresy.
