apparently, this isn't "Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts" but an OC by the artist. Although she looks like Kipo, the character is named Minji. This is also why all the characters are similar but different and otherwise, completely new
I think the better way to describe the world of these characters is that they're in an alternative universe (or AU) based on Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts setting, with each of these characters being an alternative version of the main chars from the series. With the exception of that Man with a Cyber-Arm.
