Honestly, the only thing that makes this work for me is the post-ending panels. There's something incredibly satisfying about seeing her COMPLETELY turn the tables on her captor, basically making him her slave instead.
I love the idea of a godamn space emperor becoming a stay-at-home dad who gets pushed around by his slave wife. Sounds much worse when I say it out loud, but who gives a shit?

Sometimes I think about why I'm here and if I have a reason to be here.
Was I born to end up here. Or is there a reason for my existence out there. Probably not. But whatever. I live on, you live on, yes, even the alcoholic at the train station who already has 3 seizures today lives on without a purpose or a reason. So I'm wondering...Is the reason for living that I "can" live? And wouldn't it be disrespectful to others not to live when I can live. Who knows... but what I do know is that I can and will live.
The ‘purpose’ of our lives is a very tricky problem that has been evading us for centuries. But in reality, there is no set purpose for us. We’re consciousnesses in meat sacs on a pebble orbit just an average star on some average arm of an average galaxy. We act like we’re all that but in reality humanity isn’t shit. But as for our personal lives, our purpose is nothing near solid. We are creatures of change, so we can change our purpose. Humans determine the purpose of their lives as we set goals and continue living.
