From what I can tell the artist has been focusing more on a game project lately. However, they do still seem to be active and this site appears to have the most updated version. So I'm gonna assume it will just be a while till it's updated (or at least until they finish their project)
For me personally, context for the participants and general plot usually results in a better experience. Simple, raw, immediate getting-to-the-point stuff can be found literally everywhere, so these are always a breath of fresh air.
