Are you bucking joking me? First off, look up the character Dark Moon - an actual background character that has made appearances starting in season two, and popping up in every subsequent season. Second, how is her mane "unlike any canon character"?
The shape is a simple flowing style that drapes over her face, much like Fluttershy, but slightly more scraggly and much less trailing; the central colors are white and cyan, forming a comfortable middle ground between the mane colors of both Lyra and Minuette, accompanied by a thin stripe of orange that could be compared to the stripe of magenta in Twilight's mane. Or, stay with me here, a dyed streak.
Out of everything about the character's design the only thing that isn't completely canon-compliant is the broken horn, specifically in that she can still perform magic, which contradicts evidence presented via Tempest Shadow. However, even then, it's not a big deal.
