Perhaps it's the sky and the way that almost sickly green that backdrops the vividly purple tentacle monster. I do have to point out the way the breasts are positioned on the female character is a little off. In this same panel the eyes are a bit awkward too. The other panels are fine and actually much more appealing. It's passable, but for me just so. The storyline is typical, and the artist doesn't even bother really.
